Complete roof replacement to a residential property.
Challenges And solutions:
The main challenge was working within a confined site while minimising disruption to the homeowner throughout the duration of the project. To achieve this, we worked closely with our scaffolding subcontractor to develop a scaffold design that enabled all waste materials to be removed directly from the roof and deposited into skips located outside the property boundary.
This approach ensured that the site remained clean, safe and well organised at all times. We also carefully coordinated the delivery of materials to align with the project programme, ensuring materials were delivered only when required and avoiding unnecessary storage on site.
Outcome:
The roof replacement was completed efficiently and to a high standard, with minimal disruption to the homeowner. Effective planning, good housekeeping and close collaboration with our supply chain partners ensured the works were carried out safely, efficiently and within the agreed programme.
